I kept trying to think of what my opinion really was on the oil spill and if there really was an opinion to be had. I know that it had caused many problems and is continuing to do so even though I believe it has been stopped. A friend asked me to share my opinion on this issue and there is not much I can say. I think the oil spill shouldn’t have happened and it is a bummer that it did. I feel bad for all the people it had caused problems for and a huge thanks to those who went down and took time to lend a hand. I am disappointed that it all happened in the first place and I am probably the most upset at the fact that the president was to blame for all of it. He was good enough to take responsibility for it and that is good on his part.
However, I am getting sick and tired of people blaming everything on Obama. Yes, I understand he is the president and pretty much everything is going to be his fault no matter what. That alone, I do not think is okay, now I am not saying he is the best president and that he should not be blamed for things. What I am saying is that Obama is doing a damn good job in my opinion. He had to clean up the mess that Bush left behind and is STILL cleaning up the mess. I praise Obama for standing up and wanting to deal with all of that crap. I don’t think I could deal with half the things he has to deal with on a daily basis.
Back to the oil spill, I just hope the fix it and fix all the damage it caused and prevent is from happening again. That is pretty much the only opinion on it that I have.
